British Gas Turns Up The Heat On EDF With Websaver 4

British Gas has gone toe to toe with EDF Energy, counteracting EDFs' recent announcement of its 'cheapest in the UK' Online v5 tariff, with its all new Websaver 4.

Earlier EDF Energy announced Online v5, which even after British Gas' announcement, still remains the UK's cheapest tariff.

However, while Websaver 4 is available in all 14 UK regions, EDF's new tariff is available in just 10 (London not included) and is only available to new customers at that.

On the plus side and unlike British Gas, there will be no cancellation fees applicable should you choose to leave Online v5 to join a cheaper tariff.

Word has it that the new EDF tariff won't be around for much longer so it is a case of grab it while you can. If it is unavailable in your area then Websaver 4 is a worthy alternative.

Seeus2save suggests customers compare gas and electricity prices using the seeus2save.com online calculator to find the cheapest tariff available in their area.
